Morton Trout Fishery
Morton reservoir is one of West Lothian's premier fly fisheries and was established as a commercial trout fishery in 1983. It is now run by George and Paul Nelson who took over in 2009. Fishing is available from boat and bank for top quality Rainbow, Blue and Brown trout. Morton reservoir's 22 acres provide one of the most beautiful fishing venues you'll find anywhere. Morton is now going into it's second year with a new 4 acre bait pond stocked weekly with Rainbow and Blue trout 200 yards from the fly fishery.

Morton Trout Fishery's central location makes it an ideal getaway within easy traveling distance from anywhere in central Scotland. With a fleet of twelve boats we can cater for angling clubs and corporate events. Fishing from the bank also provides some excellent sport with many features within casting distance. The Dam, Bay, Island and weed beds provide great variety for both boat and bank anglers. During July we will be building new casting platforms 8 in total and should completed for the end of July which will certainly benefit the bank fisherman
